1. Who we are

LONGDEN is a digital growth partner working with small and independent businesses in the United Kingdom. LONGDEN is a trading name of Kian Longden, operating as a sole trader.

For anything relating to your personal data, we are the data controller. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What information we collect

We only collect what you give us, plus the minimum our hosting needs to serve the site securely.

When you use the contact form

• Your name
• Your business name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it
• The services or plan you indicated an interest in
• Whatever you write in the message

Automatically, when you visit

• Your IP address and basic technical information such as browser type, collected by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site running
• Simple anti-spam signals, such as how long the form took to complete

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not send marketing emails to people who have simply enquired, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

We keep this list deliberately short. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website and delivers it securely.
• Resend — delivers the enquiry from the contact form to our inbox.
• Google — serves the fonts used on this site, which means your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads.

Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or with our accountant for bookkeeping if you become a client.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Client records: for the duration of our work together, then up to 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements.
• Server and security logs: a short period set by our hosting provider.

6. Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It does store two small preferences in your own browser, which never leave your device and are not sent to us:

• Your choice of light or dark theme, so the site remembers it next time.
• A note that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every page.

You can clear both at any time through your browser settings, with no effect on how the site works.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Ask us to delete your information
• Ask us to restrict how we use it
• Object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests
• Ask for your information in a portable format

8. How to complain

If something is not right, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection:
